MHC Datacomm was founded in July 1998 by Sandra and Matthew Harris in Carrollton, Texas. What started as a structured cabling company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth market has grown into a full-service low voltage systems integrator operating across Texas, Colorado, and Florida.
Over more than 25 years, we've built our reputation one project at a time — delivering structured cabling, network infrastructure, access control, video surveillance, fire alarm, audio/video, unit locks, and intercom systems for some of the most demanding clients and environments in our markets.
Our headquarters is in Orange, TX, where we remain deeply connected to the Southeast Texas industrial corridor that helped shape who we are as a company. We're proud to be a family-owned business that has grown through hard work, honest relationships, and a relentless commitment to quality.

Sandra and Matthew Harris establish MHC Datacomm, Inc. in Carrollton, Texas in July 1998, focusing on structured cabling for commercial projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

MHC Datacomm grows its footprint into industrial and petrochemical markets across Southeast Texas, building a reputation for reliable installations in demanding environments.
Headquarters Moves to Orange, TX
As the company's Southeast Texas project volume grows, MHC Datacomm relocates its headquarters to Orange, TX — positioning the team closer to the industrial corridor along the Gulf Coast.
Multifamily & Access Control Growth
MHC Datacomm expands its service offerings to include access control, video surveillance, unit locks (R-2), and intercom systems — becoming a full-service low voltage integrator for multifamily developers.
